THE PETADATA IDEA
PetaData was developed because Petaluma's high school librarians wanted all of Petaluma's high school students to have access to more and better resources than any one school could offer its students alone and the same resources regardless of which high school they attend.
THE PETADATA LIBRARIANS
Connie Williams
Ms. Williams is the teacher-librarian at Petaluma High School. She is also an adjunct librarian at Santa Rosa Junior College. She is National Board Certified and has been a teacher-librarian for 22 years. She is the co-developer of several online 2.0 tutorials and the co-producer of Circulate This! Stories from the School Library. She is past president of the California School Library Association and is the author of articles on teaching and librarianship. She is a member of the Teacher Librarian Services Credential Advisory Board for the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and the Advisory Board for Teacher Librarian preparation program at San Jose State University. She has a dog named Lucy. | Anna Koval
Ms. Koval is the teacher-librarian at Casa Grande High School. She is an ALA/YALSA Emerging Leader and a Walt Disney Teacher of the Year Nominee. She serves on several committees and task forces for the American Association of School Librarians and the California School Library Association. She is the creator and webmaster of the School Library Journal-honored website BigHouseLibrary.com and the author of articles on technology and librarianship. She is a guest lecturer in the Teacher Education program at the University of San Francisco. She has a dog named June. |
